The Boat
CABO´s first boat, the CABO 35 Flybridge was introduced in 1991 and greeted with rave reviews. With over 200 now fishing the oceans of the world, she´s one of the best selling boats in the CABO line-up. A ride like no other. The CABO 35 deep-V hull rides exceptionally soft in choppy head seas and is one of the driest running hulls in the business. Her impeccable hull is further separated from the competition when you consider the manufacturing process and materials. State of the art coring materials are used where appropriate to reduce weight and to enhance performance.
Life aboard. Teak woodwork throughout is elegant and durable. The salon provides the perfect environment for relaxing or entertaining in comfort. Understated luxury continues below in the spacious double cabin, Two rod lockers forward conceal as many as 10 offshore rods with reels. The flybridge features a tournament style configuration, with aft situated helm chair and controls, allowing the captain 360 degree visibility, including an unobstructed view of the angler.
Our Cabo 35' has been re-powered with twin 350 HP turbo Cummins. These 4 strokes run as smooth as any motor available. We cruise at 30 MPH and can reach any location quickly and efficiently where the fish are biting. We have all top of the line electronics on board and all the comforts of home in relation to A/C, stereo, Wi-Fi and a comfortable salon for your relaxation.
We have spared nothing in the line of tackle and equipment. We run brand new Shimano and Penn reels and Calstar and Melton rods. We carry all weights of gear, from 20 lb up to 100 lb. We specialize in light tackle and also carry fly gear on board. If new tackle or technology comes out, we are usually among the first in Cabo to be give it a try.

The success of the family owned business. BAD MEDICINE SPORT FISHING, is due in no small part to its talented and experienced crew. It is a true pleasure to watch these guys work. "They are the finest!" Cabo is an incredible fishery. That does not mean the fishing is always good. Getting a Captain that is passionate about his sport is key. These guys have over 20 years combined experience with the Bad Medicine and they honestly love to fish!. Come see for yourself!
Our crew has stayed in the family for over 20 years. The only transition was the original captain's brother took over the helm in 2000. Capitan Bernie and deck hand Beto have become trusted friends. You will be hard pressed to find a crew which pays more attention to detail. These guys love to fish, period. It shows in all of their work. It is truly a pleasure to spend the day on the water with professionals and close friends.
Fishing Rate:
$1,150.00 - full 8 hour day of fishing ( max of 6 anglers)
$1,000.00 - half day of fishing (max of 6 anglers)
$350.00 - 2 hour sunset cruise (max of 10 guests)
Additional: (paid to the captain direct in cash)
$20 license per person
$30 bait for entire boat
All Inclusive Option:
For an extra $60 per person, we are happy to provide everything you will need for your charter. We understand it's a hassle to obtain these items while on vacation. We are pleased to do the legwork for you! The all-inclusive package consists of the following:
Fishing Licenses: These are $20 USD per angler.
Live bait: The cost is $30 USD per boat. All species of fish here in Cabo hit artificial lures, and that is the standard way of catching fish while trolling. We do like to pick up some live bait also. We usually buy 10 pieces from a bait supplier as you leave the marina.
Drinks: We supply soft drinks, beers and waters in a cooler with clean ice. The quantity of drinks depends on the number of anglers fishing.
Box Lunch: We supply fresh baguettes prepared with either ham or turkey. Your lunch will also include fresh fruit and a small bag of chips.
